Do you struggle to capture great, well lit Still Life images? You are not alone, it seems to be one of the biggest hurdles most photographers face, but it does not have to be this way. In six easy steps, you can learn to harness any type of lighting for your Still Life Photography, or indeed any type of Photography. Once you know HOW to control the light, you can get great photos, anytime, anywhere.

This class offers a variety of styles and methods for using light, learn to make the most of what you already have, plus which products are best for you, your budget and your space.

Learn how to direct light, whether it is Natural or Artificial Light to make the most of your photos, whatever you love to create.

What’s Included?

In this class, we look at equipment for getting the best out of not only natural light but strobes, flash, continuous, LED and more, as well as many camera tips and tricks for achieving the perfect exposure for the mood you want.

There are seven different modules, each with small bite-sized lessons including different types of lighting available and how to use them to your advantage.

Module three - Learning different lights to set the mood, different lights, moods, directional lighting

Module four - Harnessing light, diffusers and scrims, bouncing light, reflective light

Module five - blocking and directing light, absorbing light, block and directing light

Module six - working with natural light, soft & dreamy, light and bright, dark and moody

Module seven - working with artificial light, different types of lighting, styling a scene

FAQs

Q - I don’t have much room

A - That’s OK you do not have to have a large Studio space to start out, a small corner of a room is all you need, learn to work with what you have and then create a space just for you.

Q - I don’t have a big fancy DSLR or many lenses

A - That’s OK too, you can use a point and shoot camera or even your Smartphone, you can more often than not use whatever lens you currently own, pretty much any camera, it’s the lighting that is most important.

Q - I am not really very proficient in Lightroom or Photoshop

A - I cover enough to get you started, or you can visit the Lightroom 101 or Photoshop 101 classes, on my website for even more learning…and they are 100% FREE.

Q - How much time will it take?

A - Most classes are small with videos are around 10 minutes long(some a little more or a little less), but the actual shoot time is totally up to you. This is a self-paced class and once purchased you have life-time access, no hurry at all and you can revisit each class as many times as you wish.
