In six easy lessons, you can learn to SEE any type of lighting for your Still Life Photography, or indeed any type of Photography. Once you know HOW to control the light, you can get great photos, anytime, anywhere.

This class offers a variety of styles and methods for using light, learn to make the most of what you already have, plus which products are best for you, your budget and your space.

Course Overview

In this class, we’ll explore how to get the best results from any kind of light — whether it’s natural window light, studio strobes, flash, continuous, or LED lighting. You’ll also discover camera tips and techniques to help you expose for the mood you want to create, from soft and dreamy to dark and dramatic.

The course is broken down into seven easy-to-follow modules, each with short, practical lessons designed to help you understand and control light with confidence. You’ll learn to recognise how different types of light behave, and how to use, shape, or modify them to bring your creative vision to life.

Master soft and dreamy, light and bright, or dark and moody looks using everyday natural light sources.

Explore strobes, flash, LED, and continuous lighting setups — and learn how to style and light a scene with intention.

FAQs

Q - I don’t have much room

A - That’s OK you do not have to have a large Studio space to start out, a small corner of a room is all you need, learn to work with what you have and then create a space just for you.

Q - I don’t have a big fancy DSLR or many lenses

A - That’s OK too, you can use a point and shoot camera or even your Smartphone, you can more often than not use whatever lens you currently own, pretty much any camera, it’s the lighting that is most important.

Q - I am not really very proficient in Lightroom or Photoshop

A - I cover enough to get you started, or you can visit the Lightroom 101 or Photoshop 101 classes, on my website for even more learning…and they are 100% FREE.

Q - How much time will it take?

A - Most classes are small, with videos that are around 10 minutes long(some a little more or a little less), but the actual shoot time is totally up to you. This is a self-paced class and once purchased you have life-time access, no hurry at all and you can revisit each class as many times as you wish.
