This private FAN shoot with Chey at Flack PTO in Ballan was exactly that.

Set in the quiet beauty of country Victoria, Flack PTO gave us textured walls, soft window light, and that unmistakable sense of history that simply cannot be faked. It’s a space that holds mood beautifully. You don’t fight it. You work with it.

Chey brought strength, elegance and a touch of old-world glamour to the frame. The fans became more than props. They shaped the lines of the body, controlled what was revealed and what was hidden, and added movement to otherwise still moments. Every gesture mattered. Every shadow was deliberate.

This wasn’t a large group workshop.
This was a private creative session.

Time to slow down.

We explored texture, contrast, softness and strength. Light was carefully placed to sculpt rather than flatten. The mood shifted between dramatic and intimate depending on the room and the angle of the fan. The result is a body of work that feels both classic and powerful.
