Step inside the creative world of our Día de los Muertos Halloween Workshop — a celebration of colour, culture, and dramatic portraiture.
Despite the wild Melbourne weather outside, the studio was alive with smoke, candlelight, and creativity. With breathtaking sugar-skull makeup by Jolie Nguyen and the expressive power of Skye Medusa, this session explored the fine balance between darkness and beauty.
We experimented with moody studio strobes, colourful gel lighting, and my new mini fog machine to add depth and atmosphere. Every participant captured their own version of this hauntingly beautiful theme — proof that great light and imagination can transform a simple setup into something extraordinary.
