Mythical Goddesses II
Myth & Serpent — Studio Series

In a single afternoon at my Narre Warren studio, we reimagined four myths through light, texture, and living symbolism. With models Skye and Jan, and the calm, mesmerising presence of Azel and Thar from Hellbourne House, these portraits explore power, temptation, sovereignty, and the razor-thin line between fear and fascination.

Pandora

Curiosity takes form in velvet shadows and gleaming highlights. Instead of a box, we play with thresholds—fabric, smoke, and scale—asking what happens the moment before release. Serpentine lines echo restraint and risk, while tight, tactile details invite you closer than feels comfortable.

The Snake Charmer

A conversation without words: breath, gaze, and the slow choreography of trust. Clean studio light sculpts muscle and scale, while subtle motion blur hints at music you can almost hear. It’s equal parts portrait and performance—calm, capable, and utterly captivating.

The Essence of Eve

A modern retelling of origin and choice. Skin, fruit, and foliage become a study in texture; the serpent reframes temptation as knowledge. Painterly finishing softens edges without losing the honest grit of the studio—beauty with bite.

Lilith

First light, first rebel. Chiaroscuro and strong, architectural posing honour Lilith’s autonomy and fire. The serpent here is not a villain but a witness—coiled confidence, quiet power.
