My Thoughts on the K&F CONCEPT Aluminium Light Stand
If you've been around my studio (or watched my videos), you know I'm a big believer in gear that just works—reliable, sturdy, and without unnecessary frills. The K&F CONCEPT Aluminium Light Stand fits that bill perfectly.
Build & Portability
Constructed from aluminium-magnesium alloy, this stand strikes a balance between durability and portability. Weighing in at just 1.95 lbs (0.89 kg), it's light enough to carry around without compromising on stability. The reverse-folding legs are a thoughtful touch, collapsing down to a compact 21.7 inches (55 cm), making it easy to pack for on-location shoots.

NOTE: As per many studio lights, for safety, they should be sandbagged to prevent falls. As this is a particularly lightweight light stand, I feel it needs extra sandbagging. I would also be hesitant in using the full extension with larger, heavier lights.. The weight limit is 4kg in total.
