Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who doesn’t love a nice warm, fresh chocolate chip cookie? Yum, yum…my receipt you can swap flour for gluten free, the dairy for lactose free, use dark, milk or white choc chips (or even a combination) and replace the egg with egg-like substitute.


  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 125g marg or butter

  • 3/4 sugar (brown and white combined)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

  • 1 egg

  • 6 oz choc chops


  • Preheat oven to 200C

  • Mix sifted flour, baking powder, salt and set aside

  • Cream butter, add sugar and vanilla, beat in egg

  • Slowly add flour mix, stir well

  • Add choc chips and mix through

  • Spoon onto un-greased baking tray, allow spreading room

  • Bake 10 -1 5 minutes until golden brown
