Quick Tip - for drying roses and hydrangeas

Remove the flowers from water and cut off the ends about 10cm from the tips, for a fresh cut. I also tend to remove most of the leaves, as well. Then hang them in a cool dry and dark environment from string, blooms facing down for at least a week if not two. The colour will in some cases fade and in others deepen. You just never know what gems you will receive.

Dried flowers are fragile, so keep in a dry dark spot away from wind and knocks. I tend to keep mine in a vase or cardboard box. But, relax, they are so easy to do you can replace them any time.
