Mango Daiquiris - Are you ready for Happy Hour
6 Ripe Mangoes, peeled and chopped
1 1/2 cups white rum (or vodka or tequila if you prefer)
6 lemons juiced
1 cup sugar syrup
6 cups of crushed ice
Place a small amount of lemon juice and sugar onto separate plates, dip rim of glasses into lemon juice and then the sugar to coat the edge, place some ice cubes into the glass. Decorate a bamboo skewer with strawberries or cherries, as you wish.
Combine all ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth poor into cocktails glass immediately.
Serves 6 Cocktail Glasses.
It's quite simple to make your own (Not to mention cheaper), but you can buy ready made if you wish.
1 1/2 cups Caster Sugar
1 1/2 Cups of water
Heat over media heat until sugar dissolves (approx 5 mins), increase and bring to the boil
Let it cool slightly, then pour into jug and refrigerate.
